Taking a three-day weekend as an opportunity to escape NYC, I made my way up to Boston early Friday afternoon. Thanks to the awesome graciousness that is Justin and Dori, I had an apartment to crash in even though they weren’t around this weekend. With camera in hand, I set out to explore Boston.
Since their apartment is on Beacon St right on the border between Brookline and Boston, I got some shots of a Green T Line train heading underground from the St. Mary’s St station to Boston.

A short walk later, I found myself on Landsdowne St - though not a part Fenway Park itself, the street is closed off on game days and accessible only to ticket holders.

A row of postseason banners along the side of the ballpark.

Of course, the curse-lifting 2004 banner may be the most celebrated around these parts.

Then the rain came…

Luckily, I had the company of a cute dancer to wait out the rain with me.

After the rain died down, I walked back to the apartment. I passed the infamous Citgo sign on the way back - can you believe how far from Fenway the sign is? It always looks so much closer on TV.

The next day, I had dim sum in Chinatown - you know it’s Chinatown because there’s the tell-tale entrance arch.

Susan and Michael with the arch in the distance.
