For three Saturdays in August, New York City closed down Park Avenue and connecting streets from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park to allow everyone to enjoy a walk in the street without those annoying cars in the way. The initiative was successful such that they’ll bring it back next year in an expanded format that may even find its way to the outer boroughs.
