Every year at WWDC, Apple throws a bash on the final night to close out the festivities. When WWDC moved to San Francisco, conference attendees would be bussed to Cupertino and the bash would be held on Apple’s campus. With the explosion in attendees the past few years, the bash was moved to San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Gardens. As much as I would like to have visited the campus (the motherland), I’m fine with not having to take an hour-long bus ride.

The New York City Waterfalls is a public art installation comprised of four man-made waterfalls along the East River.
This waterfall is the one you really need a telephoto lens or a boat to see - it’s situated at Governors Island.

On my last day in San Francisco for WWDC, I stopped off at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers for a tour and some beer before the night’s Giants game.

Back in June, I attended Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. Yes, I was there to see Steve Jobs unveil the latest iteration - as well as the latest drain on the wallet - of the iPhone. Beyond the press-oriented keynote speech, it was very much catered to the developers community. Some sessions were good but some just left me a bit lost since my developer background isn’t so deep. Perhaps a return trip next year will see some improvement on my end?
