Our first stop of the weekend on the Beer Advocate Top 50 list - The Drafting Room Taproom Grille in Exton, just outside of Philadelphia. This was my favorite stop of the weekend as far as places on the list went. The only drawback was the smoking in the taproom but, as this is not New York City, there wasn’t really anything that could be done to prevent that.
Continuing our quest to visit all of Beer Advocate’s Top 50 Places to Have a Beer in America, we made our way to the eastern tip of New York state to have a few beers (and a meal) at the Southampton Publick House.
In May of last year, Beer Advocate put out a list of the Top 50 Places to Have a Beer in America. Big fans of the Beer Advocate site they are, Aaron and Justin devoured the list and came up with one of the greatest ideas I have ever heard - to attempt to go to every single place on the list. Sometime in late October, they, along with Jeremy and myself, began to tally places off the list by starting off in Williamsburg.
