It’s never been a secret that I have a special affinity for the city of Boston. Back in my senior year of high school, I went on a school trip there to visit some colleges. Too bad I wouldn’t get into any of them - not that I could really be blamed for not getting into M.I.T., right? Anywhere, here are some photos of a bunch of us goofing off during this trip.

At the end of September, I took a few days off from work to go out to Boston for the NEMO Music Festival and to catch up with some college friends. Taking the Fung Wah bus instead of getting my usual ride from Aaron, I had to find my own way to Justin and Dori’s apartment. After grabbing a set of keys from Dori, I went to the Boylston St station on the Green Line to catch a train to their apartment. One problem - there was a fire on the tracks at the station which meant there was no service for the better portion of the line. Thankfully, the distances between stations on Boston’s subways aren’t too long so the walk to Kenmore wasn’t too painful.

Taking a three-day weekend as an opportunity to escape NYC, I made my way up to Boston early Friday afternoon. Thanks to the awesome graciousness that is Justin and Dori, I had an apartment to crash in even though they weren’t around this weekend. With camera in hand, I set out to explore Boston.
Since their apartment is on Beacon St right on the border between Brookline and Boston, I got some shots of a Green T Line train heading underground from the St. Mary’s St station to Boston.
