NYC Sights
It snowed a lot these last few months in New York City but you’d hardly know from this set of photos from this past winter.
Delta, JFK → MEX, MEX → JFK
No upgrades to First Class on these flights (will have to make do with Comfort+, the horror) but it wouldn’t have made a difference for lounge access anyway as MEX is basically considered domestic for that purpose. No matter, I finally got to have a (mini) bagel from Ess-a-bagel at the Capital One Lounge in JFK on the way out and got to experience a la carte dining at the American Express Centurion Lounge in MEX.
Hilton Mexico City Reforma
If you asked for my thoughts on my stay at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma | @hiltonmexicocityreforma based only on the first two nights, my response would have been “mid”.

A totally unexpected, unplanned, fortuitous visit to Handshake Speakeasy | @handshake_bar, 50 Best’s No.1 North America's 50 Best Bars 2025 and No.1 The World's 50 Best Bars 2024 (it dropped to second in 2025). This was a fantastic experience.
