2025 has been a tough year for me so so many reasons and a consequence was a very poor training block for fall marathoning. Still, none of that mattered when the day of the New York City Marathon | @nycmarathon hits. I’ve said it so many times in the past but I will gladly say it again - it’s the best fucking day of the year in New York City.

I’ve had my eye on Tolo | @tolo_nyc for some time now and it was nice to finally try their take on Chinese food.

It’s time for the Best Day of the Year in NYC! I’ll be in Wave 2 in this year’s New York City Marathon | @nycmarathon which kinda sucks as that means a later start and, more importantly, a later finish which means a longer wait for that delicious Gray’s Papaya dog.

The product on the field in the second half of the season was atrocious - thankfully, the product going into my stomach was on point.

Woke up at 7 am and snagged a 5 pm resy on… Resy for Lei | @lei.wine - seeing folks added to the wait list for the evening throughout my time there, I totally lucked out on this one.
