Four games over five days in Flushing, watching the Mets beat the Cardinals three times on their way to a four-game sweep, followed by a victory over the Phillies on their way to another sweep, making for a perfect 7-0 homestand.

Finally, a win!

Five years ago, I ended my first season as an MP watching my club win a World Series. It's hard to top that experience and it's one I still vividly recall.
