BRAT Restaurant
I enjoyed dinner so much at ⭐️ BRAT Restaurant | @bratrestaurant back in February, I came back for more at lunch, this time with reinforcements.
BAO Shoreditch
A post-Wimbledon visit to an old fave - BAO | @bao_london in Shoreditch, where we absolutely feasted.
Virgin Atlantic Upper Class, JFK → LHR
The Upper Class experience on VS138 from JFK to LHR, where maximizing sleep was the goal. But, first, sparkling wine and a mocktail.
Delta One Lounge JFK
Aircraft change moved me onto a flight two hours later than planned but there are worse ways to kill some time than at the D1 Lounge.
NYC Food & Drinks
A wonderful time eating and drinking my way through NYC between Memorial Day Weekend and Independence Day Weekend.
Delta, LHR → JFK
Wrapped up my time in London with a stop at the relatively new at the time American Express Centurion Lounge at Heathrow, followed by some great planespotting from my window seat on a Delta A330-900neo.
2025 Mets Homestand #6
Homestand number six on the season started out well enough with the Mets sweeping the Nats, of which I was in attendance for two of the three wins. The rest of the six-game homestand with three against the Rays? The less said, the better.
Chez Ma Tante x Natoora
On an absolutely sub-drenched day where the thermometer nearly hit 90°, Chez Ma Tante | @chez_ma_tante and Natoora | @natoora threw a delightful street party filled with skewers, drinks, and fresh fruits.
2025 Queens 10K
50:09 for this year’s New York Road Runners | @nyrr Queens 10K - that’s not great but a 26:03/24:06 which is a very nice negative split. I won’t dwell on how much I left in the tank when I finished because I honestly wasn’t sure how much I had in the tank to begin with.
Delta, LGA → TPA + TPA → LGA
The experience going to/from Tampa in Delta First Class, with some stops in Sky Clubs along the way.
Tampa Food & Drinks
A wonderful Saturday and Sunday eating and drinking my way through Tampa.
Miami Marlins vs. Tampa Bay Rays (in Tampa)
With Tropicana Field out of commission thanks to Hurricane Milton blowing the roof off the joint, the Tampa Bay Rays are temporarily calling Tampa their actual home for the 2025 season. That meant a new stadium in George M. Steinbrenner Field to see an MLB game in so, of course, I had to make my way there! That said, early June day games in Tampa are… man, they are a hot one, like seven inches from the midday sun.
