US Open, Day 8
Summer doesn’t (un)officially end without a visit to the US Open | @usopen during Labor Day Weekend.
US Open, Day 1
I braved the TM queue and managed to get a ticket for Louis Armstrong Stadium on the newly-added first Sunday at the US Open | @usopen.
NYC Food & Drinks
A wonderful time eating and drinking my way through NYC between Independence Day Weekend and through Labor Day Weekend.
The Sunset from Torre dos Clérigos
I spent nearly two hours at Torre dos Clérigos | @torredosclerigos so I could watch the sun set. Totally worth the time investment.
Walking the Ponte de Dom Luís I
A wonderful Monday afternoon walking the Ponte de Dom Luís I from Porto to Villa Nova de Gaia and back. It’s crazy how people just walk along the tram rails until the tram appears and then they all scurry to get out of its way.
Catedral do Porto
A walk through the Catedral do Porto | @se.do.porto which included some wonderful views of the city.
London Food & Drinks
A wonderful (second) three days eating and drinking my way through London.
2025 San Francisco Alexi Pappas 10K
Don’t be fooled by what you (don’t) see on this medal - I did not, in fact, run The San Francisco Marathon. I had planned to run it as a long run as part of my fall marathon build but my back did not cooperate. Instead, I ran the Alexi Pappas 10K, finishing it in 49:43 to get it done in just under 50 minutes. If you know me, you know I wasn’t happy with the time but you know what makes me happy? Pliny.
SF Food & Drinks
A wonderful long weekend, eating and drinking my way through San Francisco.
New York Mets vs. San Francisco Giants
Lou Seal is a wonderful mascot and it was a fun time celebrating his induction into the Mascot Hall of Fame.
That said? Mr. Met is the best mascot.
