Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport
I had a noon-ish flight out of Haneda on my last day in Tokyo and I recalled seeing the Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport | @hotelvillafontaine_village while passing through the airport during my last trip to Japan in 2023/24. With its direct connection to Terminal 3 where my flight would be departing the next day, it was a no-brainer to do a stay here so I could avoid having to make my way there in the morning from Shinjuku.
In addition to the convenience, there was an onsen with a restaurant on site where I had dinner before bathing, spending some of that time in an outdoor bath watching the action at the airport - I even got to watch the sun rise the next morning! The biggest draw, though, was sitting on the seat along my room’s window and seeing all the different planes at the gates and on taxiways. Bonus points for watching the Tokyo Monorail zip by, literally right outside my room.
