Haneda Airport: American Express Centurion Lounge + Delta Sky Club
Before my flight to Seoul, I stopped in at the American Express Centurion Lounge | @americanexpress which I was able to access with my Platinum Card. It would be an understatement to say that this lounge at Haneda was, by far, the best in the Centurion Lounge portfolio. Food was great with made-to-order onigiri on offer when I was there during breakfast hours and some standout cocktails, made all the better with the choice of what Japanese whisky I wanted in it.
I could have stayed my entire time at Haneda in the Centurion Lounge but there was also the matter of the Delta Sky Club | @delta, which I was able to access because I was flying in Korean Air Prestige Class - my Delta Reserve or Amex Platinum wouldn’t have sufficed even though I booked with Delta because it was an award flight that wasn’t Delta-marketed. I know I’m practically repeating myself here but this lounge at Haneda was, by far, the best in the Delta Sky Club portfolio. Both of my made-to-order ramen was super tasty and they had premium cocktails that didn’t cost me any yen or SkyMiles. There were some solid plane views from here as well. Not a bad way to close out my time in my favorite country to visit.
