With Tropicana Field out of commission thanks to Hurricane Milton blowing the roof off the joint, the Tampa Bay Rays are temporarily calling Tampa their actual home for the 2025 season. That meant a new stadium in George M. Steinbrenner Field to see an MLB game in so, of course, I had to make my way there! That said, early June day games in Tampa are… man, they are a hot one, like seven inches from the midday sun.

The fifth homestand of the season saw the Mets go back to their winning ways, winning all four games I was in attendance for, bringing me to 12-3 at Citi Field for the season. Sure, it helped that three of the games were against the Chicago White Sox and the Colorado Rockies but that other one? That would be against the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers!

1:48:55 for this year’s New York Road Runners | @nyrr Brooklyn Half which is very much not my best result on this course but very much the result I deserved, considering the lack of fitness this season.

Fourth homestand of the season finally saw me see more losses than wins (1-2) but I got to split an entire bottle of wine, eat Shake Shack, and pick up some souvenir cups so it wasn’t all bad. For the season, I’m 8-3 at Citi Field.

Caught Japanese Breakfast | @jbrekkie on the first of her four nights at Brooklyn Paramount. Absolutely fun set and great stage design, all in one absolutely incredible venue for live music.
